Confirma Tribunal Electoral elección de Manolo Jiménez como gobernador de Coahuila
El Tribunal Electoral de Coahuila desechó por unanimidad las impugnaciones presentadas por el Partido del Trabajo y Morena por supuestas irregularidades en las elecciones del 4 de junio en donde se eligió a Manolo Jiménez Salinas como el próximo gobernador de Coahuila, confirmando los resultados que le dieron un triunfo contundente.
El PT impugnó la determinación que realizó el Consejo General del Instituto Electoral de Coahuila que aprobó el cómputo estatal de la elección, y expidió la constancia de mayoría a Manolo Jiménez Salinas el pasado 11 de junio, con un total de 765 mil votos, frente un resultado de 178 mil del Partido del Trabajo; es decir una diferencia de 4 a 1, con cerca 600 mil votos de distancia.
De esta manera, el Tribunal Electoral confirmó el acuerdo IEC/CG/168/2023 debido a que tanto el PT como Morena no presentaron ninguna prueba suficiente ni argumentos que fundamentaran sus quejas y pudieran invalidar la elección, ya que esta siempre se calificó como un proceso limpio, bien fiscalizado y con una gran diferencia entre los resultados de cada candidato, obteniendo Manolo Jiménez el 56.93 por ciento de las preferencias abanderando la Alianza Ciudadana por la Seguridad, contra un 13.30 por ciento de Ricardo Mejía por el PT y un 21.39 por ciento de Armando Guadiana de Morena.
